Eyelet Party Skirt

I’m currently sitting in the Portland airport feeling sad that my time here is already over- I’m not sure what I will miss the most! The amazing food, the people, the weather, the shopping, or our cute little Airbnb home? Ah… if you can’t tell Portland has been absolutely amazing. I will be sure to post a Portland must- do list… and maybe even a vlog (hint hint) when I’m home! But, as sad as I am to leave Portland I am SO excited to be off to Vancouver where I will be meeting up with my mom, sister, and our family friends!

It’s safe to say I have an on again off again relationship with blazers. Some seasons I can’t go longer than a few days without wearing one and then all of a sudden it’s as if they’ve said something mean about my dog and I drop them like a hot potato… don’t be talking about my dog.

Seawheeze Training Update: Part 2

Okayyyyy so the Seawheeze is officially 10 days away!! The last time we talked (okay, I know the conversation is mostly one sided but I consider us to be friends that chit chat over wine errr I mean coffee) I wasn’t enjoying running and this whole “training” thing. Well good news, things are looking up- thank gawdd!

#NSALE Plaid

If you haven’t noticed I’m kind of obsessed with plaid. Whether it’s tied around my waist, thrown on over a graphic t, or worn done up with jeans a bootie, it’s always on repeat in my wardrobe. Vintage Denim & Ruffled Crop Top

The Dress Form back at it again with the vintage shorts. Now I know these are not for everyone but I just can’t get enough. They are super high waisted, (the zipper is nearly 8 inches, haha) but they are right up my alley!! Paired with this blue and white striped Zara crop top I scored for under $10, they make the perfect vintage, girly, yet still casual combo! This little number is perfect for a day date, shopping, lunch, or whatever the day throws your way!

My sister lives there so any chance I get I head up for a few days. It’s a guaranteed good time filled with shopping, delicious food, wine, 80’s movies, and laughs!

Well, today is the day…the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to the public!!! Although this sale comes at a terrible time for me in regards to budgeting, (teacher life!) it truly is the perfect time to invest in those bigger ticket items such as boots, jackets, and handbags! Nordstrom releases all of their brand-new Fall merchandise and it’s on sale…I mean seriously on sale from today, July 22nd to August 8th and then they return to full price!

Cropped Denim and Peplum Top

Was it just me or did anyone else have a complex about their pants being too short when they were younger? Nothing stressed me out more than pulling out a pair of jeans, putting them on only to realize that I’d grown 2 inches and my jeans were too short… so embarrassing. My parents were amazing and obviously bought me new pants when they could however, I grew up in a small town, like 900 people small, so there were no clothing stores. So, the too short pants were my only option until we made a city trip to buy new ones.
