JUMPing into a new phone
Peeling off the plastic, sliding on that crisp new case, pushing the fresh new home button, seeing the apple light up on the screen for the first time… ah, there is nothing quite like getting your hands on a new phone. There is was also nothing quite like waiting for your new phone. No, I don’t mean waiting for your upgrade to hit (that part does suck) I mean waiting for them to physically set up your new phone. I remember this taking hours, to the point where I would dread going to get a new phone (first world problems, I know), but not any more!!
Denim Shorts
Denim shorts are a definite summer staple in my wardrobe. Paired with a cute tee and some distressed shorts for the weekend, or a dark pair with a cuffed hem, a satin cami, blazer and heels for a night on the town… it’s always denim shorts for the win!
Who Inspires Me?
Floral Romper || Leone Clothing Co.
You all KNOW I’m a sucker when it comes to supporting Canadian boutiques. Supporting local is something that just feels good! Knowing that I’m helping someone else live out their dreams of becoming an entrepreneur gives me all the good feels. It also make my credit card happy… no duty upon arrival, and no translating the cost from USD to Canadian, that exchange rate is always a bit of a bummer!!
Teacher Talk Tuesday: It’s BEAN a great year!

Peplum Top: Juxta Boutique
This spring has brought so many fun tops- funky sleeves, bright colors, fun prints, and of course ruffles! I am loving all these trends for the simple fact they are so easy to style. Pairing a statement top with some black denim and heels is such a quick and easy look to pull together. This particular top is from Juxta Boutique- remember them from this post?!

Teacher Talk Tuesday: Dressing For Spring/Summer
Dressing for school in the warm/hot months is something I have ALWAYS struggled with. My shorts are always too short, and almost all of my dresses have spaghetti straps which does not fit our dress code. It is SOO hot in my classroom because we do not have A.C in our classroom… the struggle is REAL!
