I will admit I have wasn’t that great at sharing my outfits for Sask Fashion Week this year… it was honestly just so crazy around here on Thursday and Friday, it was go-go-go! From school, to Barre, and then straight to fashion week I literally had 30 minutes to get ready, ah- haha!
The countdown is officially on! Saskatchewan Fashion Week is less than 2 weeks away, eeek! That screech was a combination of excitement and stress… what the heck am I going to wear!?
That’s right… Teach Me Style is turning TWO years old! Crazy right?! Maybe it’s crazy for me but I feel like these last two years have flown by! I still remember how excited and nervous I was to hit publish for the first time. Since then we’ve grown a lot but a few things have stayed the same. I still love what I’m doing and I’m still a tad bit nervous every time I hit that publish button… I wonder if that ever goes away?
You could say my obsession with pink is getting a little out of control. Pink sneakers, pink sweaters, pink tanks… and the list goes on. So when Cavalier, a boutique jewlery store nestled in the heart of Gastown, Vancouver reached out with a pair of pink sapphire earrings, I was elated to say the least!
If you’ve been watching my Instagram stories lately, I’m sure you’re sick of the “another day, another dance studio” posts, haha! But it is true- I have been spending SO much time preparing for Swinging With The Stars- learning to do the swing is A LOT harder than it looks!
Remember last year when I shared this gorgeous cape from one of my favourite Canadian brands, Jackson Rowe? Well, they’re back at it with this faux suede jacket! I have been on the hunt for a suede moto for a while and so when I came across this one I was stoked. I love the camel color and the fact that it is a lightweight material makes it perfect for this time of year!
If you’ve been following me for a while you will know there are certain types of companies that hold a special place in my heart (and wardrobe). Happy Easter!! I am SO excited to be on holidays for TEN DAYS! I plan to sit on my couch in my jammies and drink coffee until noon, do a whole lot of spring cleaning, put the finishing touches on my office, edit photos, reply to emails, learn how to use my new vlogging camera (more vlogs coming soon!!!) and just catch up on life, you know? Life has been a little hectic lately and so when we decided to stick around for my time off I’m not going to lie I was a little relieved. Don’t get me wrong, I love travelling, but sometimes staying home is what I need.
