My Dream Baby Shower

One week before sweet baby Dane decided to make his grand entrance into the world (7 weeks early) my best friends threw me the most beautiful baby shower ever. It was pure magic! Even more beautiful than I ever imagined a baby shower could be.  They nailed every single detail.  From the colour palette that matched the nursery (spoiler alert) to having my favourite Starbucks drink order for every one to have, to goodie bags from Hillberg and Berk for every guest!!

It was an outdoor event with 10 of my closest friends and family per seating on my friend Kyla’s front lawn. They enlisted the help of some of my favourite local businesses and like I said before, it was even more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be. It was intimate, beautiful, thoughtful. Absolutely perfect in every way. Leave it to Tia, you all know her as Lady Getz, Dawna, and Kyla to make a Covid event better than any event pre Covid.

Special Event Rental– You name it, they have it! I was first introduced to them when they helped my friend Tia with the decor for her event Passion + Purpose. They completely knocked it out of the park, they completely transformed the space and brought her vision to life and they did the exact same thing with my baby shower. They have everything you could imagine to transform any space or to bring your vision to life. Weddings, baby showers, wedding showers, events.  You name it, they can help! Balloon Bar YQR– I have been seeing these beautiful balloon arches all over Instagram and I am obsessed with them. So the fact that I had one at my shower was just the best! This work of art was the perfect backdrop and made for the most Instagramable photos which is obviously important to me! 12/10 recommend contacting Balloon Bar YQR for your next event!

Hillberg & Berk –  Thanks to Hillberg & Berk every one of my guests was spoiled with Adore Stud earrings! They’re so beautiful and make the perfect finishing touch to any outfit. They also spoiled me with a beautiful gold charm necklace that has my birthstone, Lee’s birthstone, and a charm that says Mama! They have since sent me Dane’s birthstone and a beautiful D to complete the necklace. It is so pretty but also holds so much sentiment. Thank you so much Hillberg & Berk for thoughtful gift and for making my guests feel as special as they are.

Sweet Street Cakes– I am not new to Angie and her gorgeous cakes, she makes my niece Isla’s birthday cakes every year and does an unreal job! Because of Covid the sweets all had to be individually wrapped and she did such a great job of making everything look cute even while being wrapped.  Of course, everything tasted unbelievable too!

Callia Flowers– If you have been around here for some time then you may be familiar with Callia! They deliver the most beautiful flowers to your doorstep. They are super affordable, last forever, and of course are beautiful! They deliver in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, Ontario, British Columbia and the Maritimes!

Caitlin Swyryda Photo– Last but not least my girl Caitlin! Caitlin has been my go to photographer for aa few years now. I call her anytime I have an exciting launch or a big partnership coming out and she is always so happy to help.  The girls asked her to be the photographer for the day so I could sit back and just enjoy the event. I love sharing with you all but it can be tricky to be present while creating content.  Thank you Caitlin for capturing the beauty of this party and letting me enjoy myself! Love you!
