Snow Globe Livin’

A few years ago one of my students told me she loves winter because she imagines she is in a beautiful snow globe. I tried her technique for a few minutes but the howling wind and blasting snow quickly snapped me back to reality. It did however get me thinking… with the right winter parka, perhaps I could too, pretend I was living in a glass dome with white confetti and learn to love the winter! My boyfriend decided to make my snow globe dreams come true and bought me a Canada Goose jacket for Christmas last year. Best. Gift. Ever. The prices is a extreme but I will without a doubt say it is worth it, especially if you’re a teacher and do supervision… game changer!

New Years resolutions in my world typically include being more organized, keeping my car clean, eating more veggies, and working out more… you know, the same old same old. Although it is important to set life goals for yourself I’m not going to bore you with mine. Instead, I will share my wardrobe resolutions for 2016!

NYE: Sequins|| Lace

Happy New Years my beautiful friends!! I’m sure you already have your NYE outfits planned, pressed, and ready to rock but if you don’t I wanted to give you all a little outfit inspo! Lace or sequins, I really haven’t decided what I will choose… who am I kidding I haven’t decided if I will even be up until midnight but, if I DO make it I have two options that I think suit the occasion just perfectly.

Luna Clothing Collection

I was first introduced to Luna Clothing Collection when I was shopping at Rowan in Moose Jaw. A great selection of perfectly curated dresses combining trendy textiles and soft silhouettes. Their pieces range from sophisticated office attire to the cutest party dresses all with one thing in common, the great price point. This brand originally launched its’ first collection in the UK in 2012 and has since moved to Toronto. You know my love for supporting Canadian brands so when I found this one I couldn’t be happier or more proud to wear it!

Obviously Chic || 12 Days of Deals

We have been having an insanely mild winter – okay, I know winter doesn’t technically start until December 22nd but typically here in Saskatchewan we experience winter like weather by the end of October… not this year! Not a snowflake on the ground and plus degrees, I’m happy camper and taking FULL advantage of it!

Plaid is one of the hottest trends this fall/winter so finding the perfect one was at the top of my bucket list! I found this one last week and I can’t take it off!
