Since then I’ve had the pleasure of spending time at their beautiful space learning about some of their products. The Perfect Black Blouse

Having the perfect black blouse in your closet really is a game changer. You know, that one that doesn’t wrinkle, is long enough but not too long, is fitted but not skin tight, and has the perfect amount of detail. This perfect blouse I speak of is great for a night out or work, dressed up or down. This blouse definitely resides in the “worn frequently” section of my closet.

Also, take note of my new Nicole Vienna watch… I am fully obsessed with this beauty. The mesh gold band and marble face makes it elegant and modern. The price ($129) is amazing for the quality of this watch! I’m already dreaming of ordering the black one (insert heart eye emoticon here).

Teacher Talk Tuesday: 5 Quick Tips For The First Day Of School

Well… for my school division, the countdown is officially on. We returned on Monday and the students join us on Thursday! So that means tomorrow is our LAST DAY to get everything organized, planned, cleaned, and ready before the monkeys (kids) come!!! I thought for my first Teacher Talk Tuesday I would share 5 tips to make your first day with your students go as smooth as it can. This is geared more towards first year teachers because let’s face it, that first day with your students as a first year teacher is scaryyyy!! With that, I will keep this short and sweet because I know you’re busy and have a bazillion things to do before they come!

Back To School With Geox

Well… if you haven’t clued in from the constant reminders on all your social channels, teachers (well most) are back to school today. Some are dreading it, some are just whatever about it, and some, like myself are EXCITED! Which to most of you will be no surprise. I am not afraid to shout it from the rooftops… I LOVE MY JOB!!! I especially love it in September. A fresh start: clean classroom, new supplies, shiny floors, and a new class list full of little humans I can hardly wait to meet.

Secrets Out

Today I’m sharing a secret, a big secret…. I am friggin’ addicted to consignment store shopping. While in Portland I literally stumbled, (I tripped over my shoe lace as I was entering the store) into this unbelievable designer consignment store called Crossroads Trading Co. The place was nothing fancy and seemed a bit “busy” upon first glance but after a 30 second scan I found not one but TWO Acne mini skirts. That was it, I texted B and told him he better find a patio with some good craft beer because I was gonna be a bit.

K, Bye (Graphic Tee)

The other day I was out running some errands which included stopping at Ardene to grab some stuff for a flat lay #bloglife… don’t judge. I knew what I needed, colorful scrunchies to be exact, so I grabbed them, paid, and was about to leave when out of the corner of my eye I spotted THIS insanely adorable tee. The stripes are what initially got me, but once I took a closer look and noticed the patch that said “K, Bye” I was sold! SO cute right?!
