Spring Essentials With Everlane

Looking good and wearing clothes that are ethically made doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. Everlane explains this in their mission statement they have boldly on their website:

“At Everlane, we want the right choice to be as easy as putting on a great T-shirt. That’s why we partner with the best, ethical factories around the world. Source only the finest materials. And share those stories with you—down to the true cost of every product we make. It’s a new way of doing things. We call it Radical Transparency.”

One of my favourite things about shopping online with Everlane is when you click on an item, there is an option to see their factories.  When you click on see the factory a new window opens up and shows you the facility the clothes you are about the purchase are made in.  Clean, bright, well organized, and full of adults working to make your clothes for a fair wage.

With jeans as low as $99 dollars, tops under $25 ,and everything in between, you’re sure to find an outfit for every occasion.  Not only does Everlane put transparency at the forefront of everything they do, they also give back.  In fact, right now all profits from the 100% Human crew neck t-shirts and sweaters are going to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund.

Spring is here and we’ll soon (well hopefully) be able to run free like little bunnies frolicking in the grass after a LONGGG winter! Haha, ok maybe that’s a bit much but you get what I’m trying to say! I’m excited to go outside in warmer weather and you know what that means… slides without snow sneaking in, swapping puffer jackets for gorgeous lightweight trench coats, and not having to worry about bare ankles showing!   This full Everlane head to toe look is made up of quality basics, which I try my best to build my wardrobe around.  Classic like these will not only last the test of time in your closet, they will also be the quality pieces your reach for day after day.

This Drape Trench can elevate any outfit, whether you decide to pair it with these Black Straight Leg Crop Pants, Air Cami, Form Bag, and Day Loafer Mule like I did here, or a little black dress and heels, you’re sure to turn heads!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you will know that I used to be a teacher.  One tip I always suggested was investing in a nice pair of quality flats.  I love wearing heels as much as anyone but it’s key to have a pair of flats to change into around 2:00pm… these loafers are absolutely perfect.

Many of you often reach out and ask for suggestions on a good work bag.  It takes a lot to find the perfect bag to carry to a from work. If you’re like me you want it to fit your laptop, wallet, lunch, water bottle and a few other goodies but you also don’t wan it to be too big! This bag is just that. It fits all my essentials, looks super sleek and stylish and is durable.  This genuine leather bag has a sturdy adjustable strap that allows you to carry a heavy load without worry!
