Spring Transition
Spring has to be one of the hardest seasons to dress for. It’s freezing in the morning, hot in the afternoon, and then freezing again in the evening. WHAT does a girl wear?!
Obviously, if you’re leaving the house for work in the AM and not returning home until late, layers are key. But if you’re heading out for an evening on the town, try combining some winter and spring clothes- like a heavier sweater, boots, and then a skirt. Showing that little bit of skin is a true sign of spring. The small patch of skin showing between my OTK boots and skirt is just enough to make you feel like you’re dressing for spring without freezing your tail off!
Also, I couldn’t possibly write this post without addressing the embroidery on the skirt. Embroidery is SO huge right now… it is everywhere! On pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, even socks… I’m definitely not complaining!
Are you as excited as I am to starting incorporating spring/summer items into your daily wardrobe?!

Canadian Spring fashion struggle is real! I, too, am loving the embroidery detail everywhere! I love this skirt and am wondering what size you ordered, so I can better gage what size to get! Thanks!

Hi Selina! It is always SUCH a struggle!! I hope this post inspired you 🙂 I ordered a medium as the reviews suggested it fit small (I typically wear a small) I am glad I did, because it fit perfect! I would suggest ordering a size up!
