Another great video, Holly! Yay, I love watching them. Thanks for doing a review on these brushes and for including some great promo codes! Ahh, so tempting to go ahead and order but I’m waiting for my current foundation brushes to wither away or shed or just give me a reason to replace ’em but they haven’t yet haha (guess I can’t complain). Maybe by next Canada Day! Congrats on teaming up with Sigma. Love watching you, rising star!

Thanks so much, Jesilou! Yes it is so nice to team up with them, I have been using their brushes for a while now and have always loved them! I hear ya though, they can get expensive so you want to make sure the time is right!

Hey Holly! Just thought I’d leave you a tip! You mentioned you were wondering if there is a cheaper option available to the YSL Touche Eclat. There are two I can think of – L’Oreal has a product called the Magic Lumi Concealer pen and Maybelline’s Dream Lumi Touch Concealer pen. L’Oreal actually owns YSL (among many high end lines) and you can often find very similar products between the two product lines. The Maybelline one actually has higher coverage than the YSL! Hope that helps save a few dollars in the future;) But if you are wanting to splurge on YSL, try their Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks, they are gorgeous!:)

Thanks so much for tip, Melissa!! I am enjoying the YSL Touche Eclat however, it is not easy on the wallet… especially a summer teacher’s wallet 😉 So I will definitely give the other two options a try!! Yes, I have tried their lipsticks and they are sooo nice… have you tried their Volupté Tint-In-Oil? I had it in my bag the other day but decided to put it back and do some research on it first. What are your thoughts? I feel like it might be a nice option instead of lipstick or lip gloss which can sometimes be high maintenance when teaching-no time to reapply or touch up with 6 year olds haha- you get it;) Anyways, thanks again for the tip and please keep them coming!! Also, I hope you’re enjoying summer vacation!!!!

Haha, I can definitely relate to having no time for makeup touch ups… Grade 1 is too messy for that! Haha. The Teint in Oil is a nice gloss but it’s super sheer. I personally like a bit more colour if I’m going to spend the money. Their Glossy Stains are super nice though! They have a similar texture to the oil glosses but are more pigmented. They also last a crazy long time so you don’t need to reapply much!! My fave shades are 17(bright gushes) and 12 (bright coral). I’m sure you’d love them!:) Enjoy the break, we’ve more than earned it!!
