Hashtag “Best of 2015”

Happy New Year guys! I’m not sure if you have been noticing the “best 9 of instagram” hashtag on Instagram but I sure have and it got me to thinking!  What were my top moments of 2015? Not the photos that got the most likes but the moments that made my heart feel the fullest and put the biggest smile on my face because lets face it, likes are great but in reality what do they really mean…

So here it is, my best of 2015:

In no particular order…

I became an aunt… best day ever! It happened in July and it was seriously the most exciting day ever.  I honestly didn’t know I could love someone so much- crazy! Ps. How cute are my parents?!

Travelled! Brandon and I LOVE travelling!!!  This year I (we) traveled to Hawaii, Vancouver, Mexico (with a huge group including my entire family!), Edmonton, Banff, Lake Louise and Calgary! Travelling is one of those things I will never get sick of.  There is something so exhilarating about experiencing new cultures, food, and meeting new people.  Also, my sister is the best travel agent a girl could ask for so it is always stress free and planned perfectly, thanks babe!

I was a bridesmaid!  Caitlin made being a bridesmaid an absolute dream, she was so organized and efficient! Such an amazing day for a beautiful couple, thanks Caitlin and Adam for asking me to be a part of your special day!

Watched my sister crush her goal of running the Lululemon Seawheeze half marathon! From the day Heather signed up for the race she was committed and determined.  She made it look easy, so much so that she inspired me to sign up and run it this year! Watching her run the marathon and spending the weekend in Vancouver with just her was a serious highlight for me. Living in different cities, we don’t get to spend nearly enough time together, this weekend will always have a special place in my heart! Can’t wait for August 2016 when we will cross the finish line TOGETHER!

Helped my friends celebrate engagements, baby announcements, and weddings!   This year was such an amazing year for many of my close friends and I couldn’t be more excited and proud of their accomplishments… 2016 is sure to be an exciting year for many of my babes!

Saw Taylor Swift in concert…best birthday gift ever!!

9.) Last, but certainly not least I took a chance, put myself out there, and started Teach Me Style. Never in a million years would I have thought TMS would get the positive reactions it has. The support, encouragement, and love has been unreal. Creating my blog has allowed me to connect with amazing people all over the world, made me more comfortable in my own skin, and has taught me more than I thought possible. Thanks so much for following along and cheers to making 2016 the best year yet!
