NYE: Sequins|| Lace

Happy New Years my beautiful friends!! I’m sure you already have your NYE outfits planned, pressed, and ready to rock but if you don’t I wanted to give you all a little outfit inspo! Lace or sequins, I really haven’t decided what I will choose… who am I kidding I haven’t decided if I will even be up until midnight but, if I DO make it I have two options that I think suit the occasion just perfectly.

Sequins… it literally screams New Years Eve. A fun twist on a simple crop and skirt, perfect for whatever adventures you stumble upon (literally).  I grabbed this sequins top at The Dress Form, a curated vintage clothing etsy shop (also a boutique location within Cade Style Lounge) and then paired it with this super fun tulle skirt from Nico! Fun, flirty, and festive… perfect for the festive season.

Also, can we talk about my nails?!  Rose gold sparkle… I can’t even!  Chia Habte gives the most amazing manicures! If you’re from here chances are you go to Chia or know someone who does- legit best gelish manicures ever… more about her in an upcoming post!

Lace… classy, timeless, and sophisticated. This dress was given to me by Brandon’s mom, Lena who I believe acquired it from her sister. It was a floor length ball gown which was stunning but I wanted to shorten it simply to get more wear out of it. Lena, who is an unbelievably talented seamstress transformed the gown into this little ditty before I had a chance to finish my wine! Thanks SO much, Lena!!

New Years is one of those special occasions where getting your makeup done by a professional is just so fun and makes you feel like a million bucks! I had the pleasure of getting mine done by Meagan From Face By Meagan for my shoot. What a treat it was to sit back and let Megan work her magic- those wispy lashes, smoky eye, and highlight… yasssss, girl!
