Weekends

For obvious reasons I love the weekends:  Sleeping in, drinking way too much coffee, spending time with friends and family, shopping, staying up way too late, and the list goes on. Wearing whatever I feel like also makes the list.    “Professional clothing” stays on the floor of my closet and short shorts come alive… well at least with the beautiful summer-like weather we have been having.  These jorts (mom, this means jean shorts 🙂 ) are my new fav.  Every summer I like to find a pair that I can basically live in.  These are them.  I found them at Queen V Fashion House a couple months ago right before our trip to Mexico, and I LOVE them.  The washed out black denim takes the basic jort and gives it a little edge.

If you do decide to purchase these make sure you order them a size down… what a way to make a girl feel good!

They stretch out a lot!!

The floral kimono is an easy way to add a flirty and feminine touch.  Throw it on with jeans and a t or use it as a cover up at the beach.  It’s a great summer / vacation piece that you obviously need.  I got this one from Aldo a few months back and it was super cheap.  As much as I love kimonos, they are a trend that I’m sure will be short lived so if you’re thinking about one I wouldn’t spend a lot… save your money for those investment pieces!
