Layering Dresses

I will be the first to admit I am really behind with this trend. Bloggers and the general public have been wearing shirts under their dresses for months now.  This is a trend that really took me a bit to like, upon first seeing it I really wasn’t that crazy about it.

This actually happens quite often.  Generally speaking, people aren’t always on board with new things or change right away. For example: the new model of a car, the iPhone update, the Facebook layout, etc are all things that typically take people a while to come around to.

I decided that I would start dipping my toes in the water with this trend by wearing a t-shirt under a basic black tank.   After wearing that a few times I eventually decided it was time to try this whole shirt under the dress “Cher” inspired trend, and I actually really like it!  The best part about this look is these are all old items I’ve had in my closet for months, but by pairing them together, they make a completely different look! Typically I would wear this LBD with some layered necklaces, heels, and a leather jacket. As you can see the sneakers and t shirt layered underneath have totally transformed this into a super casual, yet cute outfit!
