The Perfect Third Day Hairstyle

Today I slept in… my alarm went off at 6:45 as it does every week day morning, and like every morning I hit snooze 3 times, except today, on the third time I turned it OFF…dun, dun, DUN!! So you can imagine the panic when B sat up and said “Holy s*it babe.. it 7:53!! (Typically I leave my house around 8:00 – 8:05 ish)

Luckily, I had my outfit picked! Typically I am not that organized but it’s St. Patrick’s Day today so really my options were limited. Anyways… as I was sprinting around the house trying to get myself put together in under 10 minutes I quickly remembered I had third day hair… and for me, third day hair is the best for a half top knot! Spray a little dry shampoo in the roots, and the ends are still holding that curl strong! It literally takes less than a minute and looks like you actually tried… perfect for today!

Now… don’t be fooled, these photos were not from today, haha! These however, were the only photos I have where my hair is in a half top knot so I figured they were fitting for todays post.

This is one of my most requested videos so I hope you all like it! I can’t think of a better day to post it then today as Sigma is launching their Face Architecture line of brushes which are specific for contouring! There are seven brushes in this specific line… do you need all 7? No! In the video I talk about the two I personally love and then show you how to use them to do a basic contour of the face. I say basic because contouring is really as little or as much as you’d like it to be. If you’re wanting to learn how to do a dramatic Kim Kardashian look this video is not for you… but if you’re looking for an everyday, takes 5 minutes and looks great I got you covered!

Smoky Eye Tutorial

I finally took some time… a lot actually (they take longer than you may think) to put together a smoky eye tutorial. I used my favorite Warm Neutral palette from Sigma to create this look. I love this palette and use it daily. The colors are so versatile and can be worn for a day or night look. Also, you can’t beat the price… $39.00 I mean seriously!? When I go on vacation this little gem comes with me and has me covered!
