Faux Suede Jacket: Jackson Rowe

Remember last year when I shared this gorgeous cape from one of my favourite Canadian brands, Jackson Rowe? Well, they’re back at it with this faux suede jacket! I have been on the hunt for a suede moto for a while and so when I came across this one I was stoked. I love the camel color and the fact that it is a lightweight material makes it perfect for this time of year!

I’ve since styled this jacket with dresses and it has been the perfect way to ease into the spring weather. Unfortunately, it is still a tad chilly so having something light to throw over your shoulders makes all the difference! I choose all neutrals for this look featuring my favorite cami from Heartloom underneath. Although you can’t see it (I’m upset I forgot to take a photo but don’t worry you will see it again I have been wearing it on repeat) the sides are detailed in lace making this basic white cami not so basic at all.

A Feminine Touch

Maybe it’s Valentine’s Day, or the fact that spring is around the corner, but I’m really into incorporating feminine touches, and bits of color into my wardrobe lately. I love this scarf because it adds that little bit of color, but can still be considered a part of the neutral family. The feathers, beads and the knot, add a unique element to any outfit!

I wanted to add a feminine touch to this basic look. After riffling through my closet I finally decided on this soft pink scarf…I love the way it brings the light denim and dark jacket/sweater together and also adds a little bit of spring to this winter outfit.
