Statement sleeve sweater… try saying that three times fast! I originally wasn’t going to post about this sweater because it is no longer available. (Brutal, I seriously hate when that happens!) This exact sweater is from Express. I placed my first ever order with them last month and I am SERIOUSLY impressed. I have always had good luck with their stuff (I find the quality to be great) but I never payed attention to their online sales. Well I was missing out- they’re seriously amazing. I am constantly getting notifications about sales sent to my email- most are no less than 40% off!!

Also, if you’re Canadian I didn’t have to pay duties on the package when it arrived BONUS- nothing worse than receiving a package and then owing a fat chunk of change for duties. So if you haven’t checked out Express lately I would definitely take a look! I have found some great basics for work as well as some super cozy weekend sweaters… I basically live in this Saturday sweater!!

Because I had such great feedback on this sweater when I posted it on Instagram, I thought I would try to round up some that are similar. I know it’s never the same, but in this case it will have to do! Lots are SUPER cute and very affordable!

Collared Details

Remember a few weeks ago when I was in Mexico and B and I created that video, Rainy Day Exploring in P.V?! Well, as promised I am here to share OOTD details from that video.

Unfortunately, the adorable collared shirt I wore in that video was a Marshalls treat and so I wasn’t able to find the exact one… boo, I hate when that happens!! Anyways, I did some searching and I found some similar ones that have adorable collar details like this one!

The scalloped edge, mock layered collar look, and heel sandals takes this typical jean short and t-shirt combo up a notch! Because we left the hotel early and I wasn’t sure where the day was going to lead us, I wanted to have an outfit that was comfortable but was also going to be acceptable to wear if we decide to grab a nice dinner; it definitely did the trick!

I was first introduced to Luna Clothing Collection when I was shopping at Rowan in Moose Jaw. A great selection of perfectly curated dresses combining trendy textiles and soft silhouettes. Their pieces range from sophisticated office attire to the cutest party dresses all with one thing in common, the great price point. This brand originally launched its’ first collection in the UK in 2012 and has since moved to Toronto. You know my love for supporting Canadian brands so when I found this one I couldn’t be happier or more proud to wear it!

I love this particular dress as it has incorporates classic black and white colors with a fun pattern and leather details. Fun and flirty yet sophisticated!
