Denim dresses have been ALL over this summer and I’m not mad about it, haha! I love denim in all seasons but in particular the summer. Denim dresses, denim shorts, denim skirts… I just can’t get enough. However, one downfall with denim can be the weight. If you’re tuning in from Saskatchewan, you know what I’m talking about, it has been insanely hot lately. Hot and dryyyyy… so, putting on a thick, heavy denim dress might not be top of mind. This mock denim fabric is a perfect substitution for those scorchers we’ve been lately. It’s lightweight, breathable and just darling thanks to that adorable one shoulder ruffle detail- totally perfect for any summer occasion!

Denim Dress SALE Alert!

I’m not sure how this happened, but I realized that I never did share the details on this denim dress with you all! We shot the photos a few months ago and I shared some of them on Instagram, and then and I forgot to share it on here, whoops! Lucky for you, this adorable little dress is now on sale for $44 Canadian (originally $118).

Denim dresses are EVERYWHERE this season! Yet another 90’s trend that we are all swooning over, isn’t that so funny how that happens!? This particular one reminds me of a dress my mom used to wear! I love the high neck, a line shape, and the zipper (it looks cute done up or undone!). If you watch my Instagram stories, this dress is not new to you, I’ve been wearing it non stop!

One Dress | Three Looks

The only thing better than buying a new dress is realizing the potential it has.

Don’t get me wrong- I love buying those special “one night only” kinds of dresses…

You know, the ones that cost a lot, but because the occasion is so special, you reach for that extra credit card you have stashed in your wallet or frozen in an ice cube in the freezer. But what I love even more is buying a dress that I know I can wear the s**t out of. This denim shirt dress does just that. Dress it up for work or let your hair down and add a few accesories to take it out on the town with the girls. Want a casual weekend look? Throw on some chucks, a plaid shirt, a top knot and you’re set for whatever adventure is ahead. It’s comfortable, super cute, and is so versatile- a summer staple in my wardrobe!
