For this edition of closet remix I simply turned the dress into a skirt by tucking the tank top in.  This was super easy as the material is very thin and light weight and does not bulge. I have done this a couple of times before, like it this previous post.  It doesn’t work with all dresses but when it does, it’s the best feeling… a new outfit without spending money, I’m all in!!

I wanted to keep the look classic sticking to all black and white but also give it a little bit of an edge. I paired it with this crop top made by one of my favourite local designers, Sage Wosminity.

Have you tried transforming a dress into a skirt?! Or do you have any other transformation tricks I should know about?!

These One Teaspoon jeans have been in my closet for the last year. Typically I pair them with a graphic tee as seen below… cute, right?

This dress is from Anthropologie and as much as I love it, I didn’t get as much wear out of it this past summer as I would of liked…

I decided to pair these two very different pieces together…I tucked the dress under, turned to face the mirror, and was shocked at how much I liked it!  The two items couldn’t be more different.  The dress is flirty, feminine, and dainty with the lace overlay and the denim is distressed and grungy but somehow they compliment each perfectly!
