If you’re an OG Teach Me Style reader, then you’ll be very familiar with Brooklyn Designs. I have been wearing their stuff for years now. I’m always drawn to their designs because they’re delicate and sophisticated but still have elements of fun that can easily spice up any outfit- casual or dressy these pieces are just so versatile!

As you all know I am currently travelling around Australia and will be heading to the San Fran, Banff, and L.A in the next few weeks. I vowed to travel light(ish) this trip because lets face it, I never wear half the clothes I pack and I love to shop! The same goes for jewelry. I decided to pack a tiny earring container of stuff and that’s it. In that tiny box I made sure to pack my Brooklyn Designs choker and ring. They have been perfect for accessorizing on this trip because they literally go with everything! The choker looks great by itself or layered, and the ring compliments the ring that my sister got me for my 30th birthday beautifully!

Fun fact, Brooklyn Designs pieces are often found on the bachelor & bachelorette contestants! Becca has been wearing it non stop this season and it makes me feel extra cool, haha!

The Perfect Wedding Outfit || Sneha | Varma

Well, I feel like I blinked and wedding season is upon us. Between the bridal showers, bachelorette parties, rehearsal diners, and the actual weddings, the amount of outfits you need for just one exchange of vows can be overwhelming! Stressing over accessories is just something I don’t do. I’ll typically find one bag that is versatile and stick to it. Sneha | Varma, a local Canadian brand (yay) has me covered this wedding season! The round double canteen bag is the perfect finishing touch. It’s black so it literally goes with everything, but the shiny finish and round shape dresses it up a little!

When it comes to the weekend I am ALL about comfort, who isn’t?! Encircled, a Canadian company based out of Toronto, takes comfort and function to the next level. Even before receiving their items, I knew this was a company I would be honoured to inform my readers about, simply by their mission statement.
“To create innovative designs so you can travel lighter & do more with less thereby lightening your impact on the planet. Pushing the limits of design. Never fearing mistakes as they are part of the road to something new. Giving back using materials that love the earth. Producing our designs locally with factories that mirror our values. Forever exploring & growing.” Impressed? I thought so!
Sewn and designed in Canada, ethically made, organic, versatile, COMFORTABLE, and cute. This brand has quickly stolen my heart. From the moment I stepped into their Dressy Sweatpant I was sold. They are absolutely, by far, the most comfortable pair of pants I own. The Normadic V-Neck has also quickly become a go-to of mine as it is super soft and thin, but is not see through which is often a problem with white t-shirts.
This brand prides itself on versatility which you all know I love! These pants are most often worn on the weekends for running errands but I recently styled them with a blazer, blouse, and heels and I can’t wait to rock the look to work! Also, can we talk about how this is actually the most perfect road trip outfit?! Ah, perfection!
