]]> Everyone needs a little black dress in their closet.  My favourite has a high neck, is super tight shows off all my curves, and lands just below the knee.  It’s classic, flattering, and makes me feel great- just as any LBD should.  However, being on vacation is a whole different story.   Let me tell you, that super tight dress is not going to do the trick after I’ve had a few margaritas by the pool, tacos for lunch and dinner, and nachos for a midnight snack… nope, it’s not happening.

Enter the vacation LBD.  It’s like the more relaxed, cooler (literally and figuratively) older sister.  This particular one is off the shoulder, falls slightly above the knee,  (a must for me as I rarely wear heels when I’m on vacation) and has tie details on the sleeve.  The material is also light and airy which is perfect for any hot destination.

This dress was perfect for our latest trip to Mexico.  I wore it to the beach as a cover up, exploring in Bucerias, and out for dinner.  Packing items like this that can be worn multiple times is key!
